About Us

The Maple Funeral Home and Crematory is owned and operated by James and Constance Stalteri. A true family business, the Stalteri's personally serve their families—from the moment they receive a “first call” until final rest. Their doors are open seven days a week and they are happy to assist in planning a meaningful remembrance.

The full service facility offers the choice between traditional burial and cremation. Today, more and more families are considering cremation—particularly with the convenience of the funeral home's on-site crematory. During the arrangement process, the Stalteris review the benefits of both options.

They forge a kinship with each family in walking the path to saying goodbye. During that time, they share their customs, traditions, personal feelings and those special characteristics that are unique to each group. The relationships become lasting and meaningful.

Today, the benefits of having a visitation, which includes receiving the love and support of family and friends and allowing others to come and support them during this very difficult time can end in either a burial or cremation.

Our Phiosophy

Jim's goal today remains the same as when he started. "No two funerals are exactly alike. In all of my endeavors, I believe that it is my responsibility to inform those families that I am privileged to serve that they have choices. Ceremony and ritual are a meaningful beginning in their personal journey of grief. Each family that I serve has the sincere ambition to honor the life that their loved one has lived. I am here to help them make the symbolic statement that a transition is taking place."
