Penny S. Bill

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of both our Mother and Father. Penny S. Bill entered Eternal Rest on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet. And DuWayne M. Bill followed her shortly thereafter on Sunday, June 11, 2023 also at Lightways Hospice in Joliet. Penny was a native of Aurora, IL and DuWayne a native of Plainfield, IL. Most recently they resided in Minooka. DuWayne and Penny were married on May 17, 1961 at the Second Baptist Parsonage in Bowling Green, MO. They are the Parents of Diana (Jim) Ruedin of Seneca, IL and Arthur (Leah) Bill of Diamond, IL. They are the Grandparents of Louise (Andrew) Dierks of Arenzville, IL, Mary (Mitchell) Kinzie of Wabash, IND, Faith (Steven) Alley, of Seneca, IL, Silas, Laura, Jamie and Ted Ruedin of Seneca, IL, the late Glen Ruedin, Keller (Abby) Bill, Isaac and Cora Bill of Diamond, IL. They are the Great Grandparents to Ione and Abby Dierks of Arezville, IL and Levi and Beatrix Alley of Seneca, IL and Charlotte Kinzie of Wabash, IND. Beloved Brother and Sister in Law of Aurora (the late Jerry) Bill, the late Jack and the late Sonia Bill, David (Carol) Bill, Janet (the late Stanley) Gregorich. Fond Aunt and Uncle and Dear Friend to many. DuWayne was a distinguished Veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his Country in Germany. He is retired from farming, Caterpillar and bus driving. Penny was a proud homemaker, she enjoyed tending her garden and lawn. She retired from Sears in Joliet. As a couple they enjoyed antique cars, cruise nights, getting together with longtime friends from their High School Class at Plainfield High.
