It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Patricia M. Carter. Patricia passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022 at Ascension Saint Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Born the daughter of the late Marty and Margaret (nee Hickey) Boland. Beloved wife of Roger E. Carter; Loving Mother of Colleen Walsh, Terry (Carm) Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Bob Jackson, Robin Morrow, Trisha (Joe) Adams, Roxanne (Donnie) Waterhouse and Melinda (Erik) Wheeler; Fond Sister of Frannie Cross; Proud Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Fond Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend of many. Preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Pat Doolan; her son, Larry Jackson and sister, Cecilia "Sissy" Fickett. Patricia will be fondly remembered as a proud homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family who meant the world to her. She enjoyed traveling, making sure to stop in to "press the buttons or pull the slots" at her favorite casinos from Chicago to Las Vegas to Arizona and Joliet. She was a "professional" who was a winner most of the time at the casinos and every time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Visitation for Patricia will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM until Funeral Service begins at 12:30 PM.
