Linda A. McMillin

Linda L. McMillin (nee Frederick) Of Joliet, formerly of Channahon, passed away peacefully at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the age of 76 years. Born in Joliet the youngest child of the late Dewey and Hazel Frederick. Devoted mother of Bryan McMillin, Bruce McMillin and Barry (Janet) McMillin; Proud Grandma of Kyle McMillin; Dear Sister of the late Shirley Johnson, the late Jerry, Bob and Donnie Frederick; Fond Aunt of many special nieces and nephews and Dear Friend of Patricia Borrowman and Carol Pryor. Linda retired in 2004 from Presence St. Joseph Medical Center after serving many dedicated years as a skilled Surgical Technician. Linda dearly loved her family and loved caring for them. She enjoyed books and reading was her favorite past time. Linda will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother, a wonderful sister, aunt and loyal friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Visitation for Linda L. McMillin will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at The Maple Funeral Home located at 24300 W. Ford Rd., Channahon, from 10:30 AM until Prayer Service Begins at 1:00 PM. Pastor Steven Good officiating. Interment of Cremated Remains at Willard Grove Cemetery, Channahon.
