Gene A. Miller At Rest, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet at the age of 81 years. Born in Madison, West Virginia the son of the late Bertis and Ida (nee Pauley) Miller. Gene will be dearly missed by his beloved, Ellen Sanders; his loving children, Tony Miller and Tammy (Stan) Kuta; his step-children, Mark Sanders and Chris (Karen) Sanders; his siblings, Larry (Wanda), Junior (the late Gwen), Lana (Richard) and Lavone (Rick). Many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also mourn his passing. Preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Faye Miller, his dear sister, Jewel and his brother, Denzil. Gene retired from GM Trucking after many years of service. He will be fondly remembered in the Channahon Community as being the person to call on for any of your Lawn Mower and Small Engine Repair needs. He deeply enjoyed family and was approachable and inviting. He had a knack for making fast friends who felt heard and enriched for having spent time with him. Time may pass and fade away but memories of you will always stay. Per Gene's wishes Cremation Rites have been accorded. Interment of Cremated Remains will be held at a later date.
