Kimberly A. Larkin

Kimberly A. Larkin (nee Benson) , lovingly known as Kim, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at the age of 65, following a courageous battle with her family by her side. Born on August 17, 1961, in Joliet, Illinois, Kim was a beacon of love, strength, and compassion to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Kim was the cherished daughter of the late James and Chloe Benson, who instilled in her a deep sense of kindness and integrity. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Cindy Benson, sister Jymme Murphy, brother-in-law James Murphy, and niece Erica Benson. Her family roots were strong, and she carried the legacy of her parents and siblings with grace and dignity. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 30 years, Ronald Larkin, with whom she built a life filled with love and laughter and her two remarkable children, Nichole Morales and Collin Larkin, who were her pride and joy. She was a supportive and loving mother-in-law to Pablo Morales, always welcoming him with open arms. Kim was a nurturing and loving grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren: Aidan Morales, Mateo Morales, and Izabella Morales, each of whom she adored beyond measure. Kim leaves behind her dear sister, Dawn (William) Jeffrey, with whom she shared countless memories with. Kim also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews . Kim's legacy of kindness, strength, and generosity lives on in each of her surviving family members and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, Kim was known for her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to those she loved. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where family gatherings were filled with laughter, delicious meals, and stories that would echo in the hearts of all who attended. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, as she embraced friends and community with open arms. A date for a celebration of Kim's remarkable life will be announced at a later time, where family and friends will gather to remember and honor the incredible person she was. Kim's light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and kindness will endure for generations to come.
